What is a Place?
A Place is the physical location that guests will visit. It might be a woodland, meadow, lakeside area, private garden, farm, field or another distinctive outdoor space.
Information you will need
When creating your Place, provide clear and accurate information so guests understand what the location is like before they book.
- A clear and memorable Place name.
- The location and address.
- A short description for search results.
- A detailed description of the Place.
- Good-quality photographs.
- Available facilities.
- Access, parking and arrival information.
Your short description
The short description should quickly explain what makes the location special. It may appear on search cards and other areas where space is limited.
A peaceful private woodland in rural Devon with secluded clearings, mature trees and beautiful countryside views.
Your full description
Use the full description to help guests picture their visit. Explain the character of the Place, the landscape, access, privacy and anything guests should know.
Be positive, but remain accurate. Guests should not arrive to find important conditions or limitations that were not mentioned.
What happens after creation?
Your Place starts as a draft. You can then add Experiences, photos, facilities and availability before publishing it.
