Publishing your Place

What does publishing mean?

Publishing makes your Place visible to guests on Hidden Places. Until it is published, your Place remains a draft and cannot receive public booking requests.

You can continue editing a draft for as long as necessary before making it live.

Before you publish

Review every part of your Place and make sure the information is complete and accurate.

• Add a clear Place name and location.
• Write a short and full description.
• Create at least one bookable Experience.
• Set an appropriate price for each Experience.
• Upload good-quality photographs.
• Select all available facilities.
• Check your availability calendar.
• Complete your payment and payout setup.

Review your listing as a guest

Before publishing, look at your listing from a guest’s perspective.

Ask yourself whether someone unfamiliar with the Place would understand:

• What makes the Place special.
• What they are allowed to do there.
• What their booking includes.
• Which facilities are available.
• How they will arrive and park.
• Whether the Place is suitable for their group.

Accuracy is important

Photographs and descriptions should represent the Place honestly. Do not hide important limitations or describe facilities that are not available.

Guests rely on your listing when deciding whether to make a booking. Accurate information builds trust and helps prevent disputes.

After publishing

Once published, guests can discover your Place and submit booking requests for its Experiences.

Continue to keep your calendar, prices, photographs and descriptions up to date. Respond promptly when a guest sends a message or booking request.

Unpublishing your Place

If you temporarily stop accepting new bookings, you can unpublish the Place. This removes it from public search while preserving its information in your host account.

Unpublishing should not be used to avoid an existing confirmed booking. You remain responsible for bookings already accepted.

Archiving a Place

Archiving is intended for Places that you no longer wish to manage actively. An archived Place is moved out of your main Places list but is not permanently deleted.

You can restore an archived Place later if you decide to use it again.
